The Brekkians are a humanoid species of standard Terran form, with the ability to generate electricity from their body. They can direct this electricity through their hands, or via some other means.
Brekkians have since become first-class citizens of the Federation, after helping end the drug dependence they had allowed to form in the Ornarans. After their economy collapsed, the Federation came in and helped rebuild both the Brekkian and Ornaran planets.
